🌍 GRADE 4 SCIENCE —  INTRODUCTION

Grade 4 Science is designed to deepen students’ understanding of the natural world by exploring physical science, life science, earth science, and engineering design. Students examine how energy moves and changes, how matter behaves, how organisms depend on each other, and how Earth’s surface is shaped by natural processes.

Learners investigate heat, light, sound, motion, and electricity, discovering how energy affects objects and environments. They explore states of matter, mixtures, and solutions, learning how materials can be combined, separated, and changed. Students study ecosystems, food webs, adaptations, and environmental impacts, understanding how living things survive and interact. They also examine rocks, minerals, erosion, weathering, and landforms, discovering how Earth changes over time.

Throughout the course, students use scientific inquiry, engineering design, hands‑on experiments, models, diagrams, and real‑world problem‑solving. Grade 4 Science encourages curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and responsible environmental awareness.
